Counseling - Sensible Senior Solutions: This is a community service designed
to serve senior citizens. As a transition
counselor, Dr. Silva provides counseling services to seniors in addition
to offering workshops concerned with the issues of
aging. Topical workshops are available that focus on
the loss of memory,
copying with disabilities in later life, diet and life
style management, sexual functioning after sixty,
challenges in mating and relating, etc. Individual and group counseling services

Seminars Concerning Travel and Residence in Japan:
Designed for business professionals, students and vacationers or those who are
new to the culture. This seminar is offered periodically or by request.
Individual consultations are available.
Speaker for University Classes in Cross Cultural Studies, Civic Groups: (Click Here for more information) One hour slide presentation for those who want to explore the culture in depth from the perspective of a gaikokujin who has lived there.
Ikebana Lessons, American Style: Two hour, hands on version of the basic concepts of Japanese Flower Arrangement.
Business Consultation: This service is available to those individuals who are interested in establishing business in Asia.
Counseling Support: Students from foreign countries studying in this country who are struggling with cross-cultural issues. First priority will be given to Japanese students affiliated with Villanova University. Home stays along with visitation to cultural sites can be arranged.

Dr. Willetta Wyatt Silva has worked and lived in Asia for ten years as a professor of English and as a research consultant to medical groups involved in brain imaging in the field of cognitive neuroscience. Currently, Dr. Silva is involved in teaching at various universities in the US and Japan. She resides in Valley Forge, PA.
